Temperature controllers keep your operations at the precise temperature necessary to ensure quality and maximize production. These controllers receive sensor signals and control heaters or other devices to maintain a preset temperature. They can also be used for humidity, pressure, and flowrate control. OMRON also provides temperature and humidity sensors.

Where will the temperature controller be mounted?

How to choose temperature controllers?
For mounting inside the panel:

    2. Analog timers

    Analog timers are control devices that output a signal at a preset time after an input signal is received. All analog timers are available with DIN rail mounting (17.5mm, 22.2mm width) or as plug-in and panel flush mounting (28 x 21.5mm or 1/16 DIN 48x48mm). Analog timers are ideal for delay applications e.g. pushbutton signals OFF- or ON-delay, where a digital timer's functionality is not required.

A timer that has short term count with 1/16 DIN (48x48mm) mounting, another type has long term which available in DIN rail or panel mounting (1/16 DIN (48x48mm), 1/4 DIN (96x96mm), 72x72mm).

    OMRON provides preset counters, totalizing counters, time counters and electromagnetic counters.

    A counter is a device that counts the number of objects or the number of operations. It is called a counter because it counts the number of ON/OFF signals input from an input device, such as a switch or sensor. It is fairly simple for people to count ten or twenty objects, but larger numbers make counting increasingly difficult. Counters outperform people when it comes to counting accurately. Counters are classified into two groups according to whether they produce an output or not.

    What is a preset counter?
    A preset counter counts until the present value reaches a preset value, and then it activates a control output to operate an output device. The term preset in preset counter means that you can set a value in advance.
    The operation of preset counters used in automated machinery with a pudding production line. Counters are often mounted on control panels so that the workers can check the display. It also described from signal input to control and signal output in the boxing process of the pudding production line.

    What is a total counter?
    A total counter does not output a control signal. It only displays the present value. A total counter is often used when you only have to display a production count, for example number of puddings counted.

    5. Process meters

    Digital panel meters perform digital processing on or conversion and display of voltages, currents, other analog signals, and pulse signals. They can also compare input values to set values, transfer data, and perform other functions.

    What is a digital panel indicator?
    A digital panel indicator digitally processes measurement data, such as an analog signal from a linear sensor (including a voltage and current), or a pulse signal. It then converts and displays the data.
    They can also act as interfaces by performing operations such as comparisons with user-set values, and transmitting data to computers and PLCs.

    OMRON digital panel indicators have good visibility in the field, are easy to use, are waterproof, and conform to international standards. Communications with host computers or programmable controllers have been improved to provide functionality for advanced information systems, such as data collection to increase operating rates and data recording capabilities to provide for implementing measures for PL laws and ISO.
